Our Curriculum 

Compass4Humanity is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting underprivileged and refugee children by providing educational tutoring and advocating for their rights to education through policy initiatives. Interns have the opportunity to choose between a policy intern or an education intern. 

Policy Advocacy Intern

Interns are required to send 10 policy emails each week to government officials advocating for the educational rights and safety of refugee and underprivileged children. 

Accountability 

Flag System for Performance Monitoring

  1.  First Flag (Initial Warning)

  2.  Second Flag (Escalated Warning)

  3. Third Flag (Final Warning)

  4. Consequences of Third Flag

There are activities for interns to remove a flag. 

Education Intern

Interns are required to volunteer 5 hours each month. Compass provides various tutoring and volunteer opportunities available for both virtual and in-person support for refugee and underprivileged children.
